She wants to have the opportunity to showcase her amazing talent and is giving all brides-to-be a free air brush makeup trial. Please note in order to receive a free makeup trial she must be available on your wedding date.
Here is where this get even more awesome...two lucky brides will each win a free make up application for their wedding day! To enter the drawing for free day of makeup you must text Jacqueline Nicole at 917.968.4713 to make sure she is available on your date (you must mention this LIWeddings contest) or call 631-588-6161. I had my free trial with Jacqueline Nicole yesterday after work. FYI, the trials take place in her home in Nesconset. Because of storm damage from Sandy, the house is under construction, but she has a studio in the basement that was set up nicely and it wasn't too warm down there even though it was a gross and muggy day. On to the trial....
The first thing I noticed about Jacqueline was that she was so sweet. She immediately tried to make me comfortable by first bringing a fan downstairs to make sure I was cool enough, then giving me a bottle of ice cold water, and even offering to make me an iced coffee or give me snacks because my trial was immediately after work and I hadn't eaten anything. Seriously, she was an absolute doll--and I very much appreciated it because I was nervous about the trial. I have had two makeup trials before this and didn't truly love either. So, I didn't go into this trial with high expectations and tried to prepare myself for disappointment. However, I'm happy to report that I was very pleasantly surprised with the results!
Aside from her friendly and down-to-earth personality (which made me feel like she'd be great to have around on the day of my wedding), Jacqueline had some serious skills. Even a makeup novice like me could tell that she had a lot of experience. She took her time and was so thorough with the makeup application. Everything looked flawless when she was done!
That being said, I didn't love the first look we tried. I asked for a sort-of Kim Kardashian smoky eye--but not totally blacked out like KK does. Jacqueline gave me what I asked for. The shadow was very well blended and really pretty--but it didn't suit me. I hardly ever wear makeup so this look made me feel like I wasn't myself. It might have been great for a bachelorette party, but not for the wedding. She realized this without me saying a word...I guess it showed on my face. Jacqueline immediately got to work on 'toning it down' and removed the dark shadow, replacing it with a pretty champagne cream (I think) shadow. The lashes (which she provided) gave my eyes so much 'pop' that I didn't really need a dark shadow or heavy eyeliner. And she swapped the deeper lip tone out for a lighter gloss. I didn't think I'd like the natural look on me, but it worked well. I felt pretty...and isn't that the point of makeup?
The airbrush foundation Jacqueline applied felt light and looked amazing. I was so happy with it. This was the first time I've had airbrush and I don't ever wear liquid foundation, so I had been worried about sweating or crying my makeup off on my wedding day, but Jacqueline promised that this wouldn't happen. She said I could sleep in the makeup and it would look the same the next day (except for the lips of course). So, I took that challenge and slept in the makeup last night. And, this morning, it still looked great! The last picture (white blouse) is of me this morning. All I did was add a little extra black liner inside my eye and put on some chapstick. I hope all these 'selfies' help to properly illustrate Jacqueline's talent. My FH loved the makeup and so did my mom and MOH. And, this morning, my coworkers are all complimenting me. I would love to tell them that this makeup was from yesterday and see their faces, but I'm going to let them think I did it myself! LOL

When I got to Jacqueline Nicole's house she was extremely welcoming and kind. She took the time to sit with me and talk to me about what it is I want and what my look will be on my wedding day. She was warm, funny, so sweet, and easy to talk to. I felt like I had known her for years! I told her I never really wear makeup, and I was looking for something a little more natural, but I want to accent my eyes a bit. I think she completely nailed it! When I was a little concerned about the eye shadow she blended it more for me so I could see it both ways.
I must admit I was nervous to get my makeup done because I've more olive toned and I didn't think I would find anyone who could work with my skin tone but now I realize I should't have been worried! I'm truly so pleased with the way it came out, I highly recommend her!
**Communication was all done via text and she was very quick and responsive**

Im bad at these but... Jacqueline is such a nice person and and a great hearted person. I brought my daughter with me she gave her crayons n paper to play with and water. To keep her occupied. But Brianna was so happy to see her to do my makeup Brie loves makeup.
But as soon as I sat down she talked to me asking me what I wear makeup wise. I'm very natural not great at doing makeup. I showed her pics on how I wanted it.
She did such a great job!! I love it!! How how professional she is. I booked her right on the spot!
I'm so excited I booked my makeup artist!!
She gave my daughter lipgloss and did her makeup too :0)

So I had my trial with Jacqueline yesterday. My appointment was not supposed to be until 6, but I did not hit traffic and made it there by 5:30. Her mother brought me right downstairs and hung out with me for a few minutes till Jacqueline came down. As soon as she met me she gave me a hug invited me to sit down, and offered me something to drink, or eat. We quickly got to talking I showed her a pic of my dress, and told her what kind of makeup I usually wore, and what I liked, but I really had no idea for the wedding so I did not bring her any pics that had caught my interest.
After talking for a while she said okay so lets get started. She applied everything slowly and carefully, and when it was all done I could not believe how light it felt, and how perfect it looked. Everything that I had imagined or hoped that it would look like, but did not know how to express to her she nailed. I turned around to her and said your booked I love it!! I really could not be happier with the whole experience, and could not possibly recommend her enough. On top of everything we got along so well that I believe I walked away from this not only with the perfect makeup, but with a friend. I am posting a pic from before in my car, and then a few after some from her studio, and then in front of her house. PS I slept with the makeup on last night woke up this morning, and it looked exactly the same

Yes, she's a doll--love her! And I felt so pretty too. FH was a big fan of the makeup, especially since I hardly ever get done up like that haha. I love seeing how the other girls' makeup turned out! :)

I went for my trial with Jacqueline Nicole on 8/2 and have to say it was fabulous! I have an infant at home and was only able to go on a Friday evening and Jacqueline accommodated the time I needed. She replied to my text right away and we were able to set up a time.
Jacqueline was super sweet, personable and professional all at the same time. I felt like I was chatting with one of my friends, one who's super good at what she does! LoL! She has a studio set up in her home where we could chat and even though there was construction going on in her home due to Hurricane Sandy I did not hear a thing and we were able to chat about what my vision was for my special day. We discussed my bridesmaid dresses, my theme, looked at a picture of my dress and some ideas I liked and then we got down to business!
I LOOOOVED the airbrush makeup she did. It felt so light and covered super well. I also really liked the lashes she uses, as someone who wears lashes often I know how heavy they can sometimes feel based on the kind you use and how you apply them. After Jacqueline applied them I could hardly feel they were on and they looked awesome! I wear contacts and lashes sometimes annoy them leaving me blinking or rubbing my eye a lot. The way she applied the lashes it absolutely DID not have me rubbing my eyes. I loved everything about my application. I don't usually wear a lot of lip color and Jacqueline nailed my lip color with a soft neautral look to accomdate my smokey eye. I booked Jacqueline right away! Definitely go for a trial girls, you won't regret it!!
