get together question

Has anyone been to a get together? What goes on? I'm getting married July 26th, so would it be silly for me to go to one since I've already picked most of my vendors??

GTG's are just that - a chance to meet people you chat with here. It's not like an expo or bridal showcase, it's just a party. They are a lot of fun, its great to put faces with names and you may win a prize.
