it's painful, but worth it. bliss uses the poetic hard wax, which really eliminates a lot of the pain! you should try it once - it feels so fresh and clean

I am thinking maybe I'll do it before I leave for my cruise in a few weeks. I'll try Bliss, thanks for the suggestion!

Re: Getting a Brazilian
Sorry but I did this once and only once. I did it at a nice spa in LI but it was the most painful experience ever. it was just not worth it for me. The regrowth started after a week and a half and wasn't worth all the pain and soreness I incountered. Good luck, I hope you have a better experience! A lot of people do it!!

I keep saying I'm going to do it but then chicken out!
I've heard the more often you do it the less it hurts but I don't know how much I believe that. I can't imagine it NOT hurting.

Me too . . . and I'm old. I'm a shaver . . . . and I can do it with my eyes closed and in 2 minutes flat. Only thing is, you have to do it OFTEN.
I can't take the pain that even the my most diehard waxing friends tell me exists . . .every time they go.

A tip from my friends:
Don't wait til then. Try it before, because if you react badly . . .ugh. That's what I'm thinking about, but at this point, after 1 1/2 years living together, the FH knows what to expect . . . . not sure that 'surprise' will even mean much to him, and if I'm going through THAT??? he better LOVE IT. I'm still thinking about it . . . . .
