So after waiting forever to book our reception hall...apparently you can't book till a year out in Hawaii we finally hit our one year mark. We called on the 31st right away and told them we wanted it. We have been waiting for two weeks now to get the contract. All I want is to know that I am confirmed and to start planning this wedding. I haven't been able to do anything yet and I am getting sooo irritated

i feel your pain, i truly do. but isn't hawaii bracing themselves for a hurricane? mail could be a little slow
give it some time - have faith everything will work out!

not oahu and its been two weeks this whole hurricane thing is only as of the last two days.

aaww... im very impatient with things like that too. they are experiencing some bad weather, so that may be slowing things down. im sure you will get it and it will be fine! good luck!

We emailed them yesterday to remind them. I guess I am just getting anxious to start planning. I haven't been able to do a thing.

I just got an email from the event manager. They will email us the contract sometime today which may be tomorrow for us The contract is in the mail...wahoo
