i havent found a venue yet and im getting nervous. all the venues that i really love are out of budget because i want the venetian hour as well... leonards was giving me such a deal thats why its still attractive to me.. but i just was not crazy about the place and i feel like im caught in between a rock and a hard place. i was really shooting for may of 2012 but i think i might have to change my date to a winter month because the price goes down considerably. is there any venues you girls may recommend that may not be so expensive. i need to book by this week because i can not afford to lose another month budget wise. please help!!

I was also looking for May 2012. The cheapest places I found were:
Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst The Riviera in Massapequa
otherwise everything was about the same price give her take a few dollars!

Did you try Villa Lombardis, or any of the other Lombardis I heard their prices arent terrible and you get A LOT of food.

what's your price range? would you consider a thursday wedding? i don't remember my quotes from Leonard's but I think there were a few in the same range. I have a bunch of 2012 quotes from other places, let me know your range.

Did you try Riviera in Massapequa - not sure how their food is but it was definately a reasonable quote and definately less than im paying for the RH I chose lol

Do you want a more Modern feel? I wanted more of a loft/lounge feel to my venue. I am still having five courses and a sit down dinner, but I did not want the marble and huge chandelliers. FM if your interested.

all the ones I can think of right now that didn't have high prices. all I've been doing is going to halls. I want to see like 40 of them. I'm crazy like that though. I don't want to miss anything.
