Getting back into the groove, DJ appointment Monday
Going for my First DJ meeting on monday with MRG Productions. Ladies who have met with DJs, what was it like, what questions should be asked, etc?

I met with Vinnie at High Voltage - first and last DJ apointment I had. I cancelled the rest. Generally, they go over packages, options, and pricing. With Vinnie, it was very laid back - just what I wanted. Feel free to FM me with any questions.

Repost from BHB:
I asked about what the backup procedure was for equipment failure.
In addition, ask to see pics of the set up in your room.
I also asked about what happens if someone becomes ill, and I was given the names of backups which are in my contract.
I asked about the refund policy... adding extras / removing extras, etc.

Re: Getting back into the groove, DJ appointment Monday
The meeting with my DJ was pretty straight forward. We talked about the type of crowd we are having. We went over some of my ideas for the different things I wanted to do through out the night. He gave us some worksheets that we will need to give him when it gets closer to the wedding such as songs we want for our 1st dance, bridal party entrance, etc. He also gave us a list with all the music genres and we have to indicate a percentage to how much of a certain genre we want played. Some important questions to ask may be:
-What time do u come to set up? -What will you be wearing on the day of? -Do you have back up equipment? -Are you able to download songs on the spot if someone requests a certain song you may not have? -What are your overage fees?
Hmm, that's all I can think of right now. My mind is drawing a blank. HTH!
