getting birth certificate in NYC for marriage license
I have to go tomorrow morning to get my certified copy of my birth certificate in downtown NYC...on Worth St. Has anyone recently been through this process? I'd like to hear how it went. They say I will get the birth certificate the same day...while I wait there. I'd love to hear others experiences and/or advice. Thanks!

I have been twice because I keep losing mine. It is not a big deal the lines will be long but it does move quick so don't get annoyed when you see the line all the way down the hall. I think I was there for a good half an hour and that was not bad.

if you are getting your marriage license in NYC you dont need it
all we brought were our driver's licenses and we had no problem ( went in Queens )
