My friend is getting married 10.10.10 and she put down a $100 deposit on her dress that she tried on over thanksgiving break at david's bridal. We went dress shopping yesterday at Macys and she fell in love with this one dress that looked stunning on her.
She wants to get her deposit back from david's bridal is this possible? he dress is supposed to come in after new years. She'll take store credit, she just wants something back. Please help us!

I've never heard of them giving back a deposit but they will give her store credit. Good Luck!

I havent heard that david bridals gives back a credit on deposits...She might be able to fight for it and get store credit. She could buy herself a cute party dress or something instead...

definitely see if they can give store credit. they have really cute dressy dresses.. my friend came w/ me to pick up my wedding dress and she ended up buying herself a dress to wear to my wedding!! she would definitely be able to find something with the $100.

I would fight for the money back honestly. Depending on what location you go to, they might give you the money back. But, don't wait too long. I tried to get credit on a headpiece that I bought a few months ago (still in the packaging) and they absolutely would NOT take it back.
