So I don't wear my ring to work. I work in a hospital in the south bronx....its not that i think im gonna be robbed (which is a possibility), but i'm constantly examining patients with gloves and i'm worried that the ring will cut the glove. So, i've been working CRAZY hours and i havent put my ring on in almost a month! Its really depressing, i dont even feel like i'm engaged!
Anyone else not wear their ring to work and feel the same way?

I know how you feell..... I barely wear my ring.. i work late nightss..go to school at night.. and also intern in a school thats not the best area..ppl are always askin did u just get engaged and im like noo almost two years agooo

I work with chemicals rather than patients, but I still wear gloves all the time. FH knew this so he got my ring set low enough to work under my gloves... I barely even notice its there anymore.
At least you're missing your ring and not your FH. Sometimes I feel single. /end mini-vent

Same deal... I have a low set ring so I can still wear it in the warehouse etc... BUT no FH around so its like I'm single with a pretty

i don't care, i refuse to take my ring off, i wear it everyday!
turn you ring backwards so diamonds face the palm when you are walking to and from
i have a cathedral setting ring and it has yet to cut through any gloves yet
i say wear that baby!!!!

I always wear my ring. I am a pre k teacher so sometimes i get nervous with paint and etc.but i just wear gloves ha..i hope im not sorry for this!

awww i was like that in the beginning but then I realized I had insurance on my ring and just made sure and made it very routine to check on my ring every 10 mins and now its just habitual.
