Getting down to the wire!

I can't believe that in 46 days I will be marrying the love of my life. Our RSVP deadline is this Friday and we still have quite a few people we are waiting for responses from (including my landlord who lives upstair lol). We've had 2 days so far where we've had absolutely no response cards in our mailbox so I'm getting a little nervous.

Not sure when my shower is but I'm thinking it's coming up soon. It was supposed to be 10/27, but that's the day my father got remarried so FH, my mother, and my MOH worked with my bridal party to change it so that I could have my own special day. That day was a little emotional for me as some of you may already know (I wasn't invited and my father seems to want nothing to do with me or the wedding planning. He and his now wife have not even sent back their response cards yet). I know my in-laws feel really bad for what my father has put me through and I'm thankful to have people who are in my corner, including my aunt who I've always been close with as well as two of my cousins, who did not attend my father's wedding because they felt disgusted by what he is doing to me. Anyways, on a happy note, FH and I have purchased our wedding rings and they are tucked away safely until the big day. MIL and I will be working to put together the centerpieces since we're doing a Disney themed wedding, we've ordered place cards and favors, and FH ordered a surprise favor for the guests that I will not know about until the day of. We've got the memorial candle, the unity candle, and I had my first dress fitting. Second fitting is scheduled this month in about a week. Only trouble is I'm having a hard time locating my wedding shoes I thought my mother had them but she says I took them when I moved in with FH. So that's going to be fun trying to find them. Can't wait for the day to get here nonetheless. It's going to be a great time. And I still have my shower and bachelorette party to look forward to

Waiting for ppl to RSVP can be so annoying. Since your RSVP date is approaching I would start contacting those who haven't responded and say hey, RSVP date is soon, if you haven't done so already please send it in ASAP!
