So of course I padded my wedding date just in case the dress came in late, etc. I said June 11th for a June 26th wedding
Have other brides gotten their dresses int heir hands 2 weeks early? Did it stay unwrinkled, etc while you had it. It will hang upstairs in y parents house from the same hook in the ceiling my sisters dress hung from when she got married. Im afraid the dress will get wrinkly, etc.
Please reassure me!!

You'll be just fine! I would suggest hanging it in the bathroom while you take a shower a couple of times (WHILE COVERED WITH A THIN PLASTIC SHEET) to steam it.

i changed my datewhen i recieved my dress to my wedding date for alterations
wrinkles are not the only problem - people loose weight because of stress and don't want it too loose

from what people have told me, you'll lose an easy 5 pounds the week before the wedding!

Once you have confirmation that the dress is in, just tell them the date has been changed and give them the new date.
