Re: getting frustrated
I read all 4 pages just in case there were updates but OMG! I'm so sorry Denise!
I am the biggest stressball and I can't believe you have remained so calm with all of this going on! This freakin succcks! Doesn't that woman realize your wedding is in less than 2 months so invites need to go out?
The fact that she's refusing to answer your calls and hasn't been up front about all of this is so much worse!
As a backup is it possible to buy your own cardstock for the boxes and send/drop it off at the calligrapher while you wait on the invites? You obviously should not have to do this, but it might save you a few days which might make a difference depending on how close things get.
Keep us updated. There is no way this should take that long! My invitations shipped one week after we finally approved our proofs and that included them printing all of our envelopes. It wasn't 'expedited' -- the company was also around to answer faxes and phone calls when i went through 3 sets of proofs before OKing it.
Hope it all works out for you -- I'm confident it will.

Re: getting frustrated
thank you so much ladies. I went with one of my bm's, shopping for bm dresses for her wedding and came to fh's house for good friday dinner. I came to check my email hoping that she answered me by now but she hasn't. The calligrapher knows how annoyed i am about this and that i hope she gets it by this weekend so i think she'll email me when she gets them but i'll email her anyways to see if she has received them yet

Re: getting frustrated
I'm so sorry to hear this is happening! She should really be upfront with you and tell you what is happening and WHEN exactly it will be sent out. Timing-wise she really HAS to tell you what the situation is. I mean its not only you but your calligrapher is dependent on her as well.
I had a similiar problem with the calligrapher I had it was a nightmare. In the end I had to print some myself from my computor (even though I paid for her services) plus I got an email stating I need more envelopes b/c her printer ate my envelopes! And that's my expense now??! My envelopes were Crane's paper and it wasn't like I could just go out and get some easily, but basically she could keep her work on when it would be done, than when she finally was done (forgetting a couple ppl on the list btw) had the audacity to remind me to give her a good review. Sorry for my rant, some ppl really do not know how to run a business!!!!
