This is getting so frustrating, i tried to stay positive and dont want to get annoyed but its hard not to. I order my invites in february, i paid to have them expedited and its been a month and i still haven't received them. What annoys me more is that she can take long to answer emails. For example WEEKS ago she said she will email me a proof, honestly shouldn't take long to make 1 proof. I didnt get it for DAYS which ok fine at that point there was still time so wasnt as annoyed yet. I said the proof was fine and she said she is sending me the invoice then and said she will that day. Again didnt get the invoice that day and then when i emailed to tell her i didnt get it, she didnt answer for a few days and said she emailed the paypal invoice but guess it didnt go through and she re-sent that day, so for a few days just waiting for her to send an invoice. She emailed me beginning of this week to tell me instead of gold shipping slips she will do opal and i said that was fine and if she can please mail them to the calligrapher herself and i gave her the address, so this way it will cut down on time and to do it that day. She said yes she is mailing them to the calligrapher right away. I emailed her RIGHT BACK and said to do it fed ex overnight and if she wants she can invoice me for that and ill pay for it. She didnt respond back and still hasn't so not even sure if she sent it by fed ex. I NEED the calligrapher to get the slips this weekend, which she said she can do them all this weekend if she gets the package.
I JUST called her and no answer. When i emailed her in february, i specifically told her that i would need the invites in 3-4 weeks and if she is able to get it to me by then, i told her my whole situation and she said it was no problem at all and i can expedite them and i would get it by the time i would need them. I told her i want to mail them out by march 17th, i said if i mail them out a few days after thats not a problem just not much longer after that date. I have no clue what the progress is on my invites, dont even know if they are almost ready, if i knew this then i'd feel alot better. Not knowing anything makes me nervous bc i sit here wondering if she is even almost done. If she wasnt able to do this then she should've told me before taking my order. I emailed quite a few ppl before her and they were all honest, and she was saying how she can make them quicker and get them out on time so i went with her.
She has a store with other workers, so honestly shouldnt take this long bc its not like shes doing them by herself. She has a design team, i think its 3 people. I am going to try and call the store again and hopefully she will answer. Usually she always emails on friday so hoping to hear from her soon with an update. I NEED to find out if she will get it to me in a few days or not, actually forget not getting it, i need to tell her that I NEED my invites ASAP and to work all night at them or whatever she has to do.
sorry for my long vent but this is just so frustrating. I dont see why it would take 4 weeks to make these invites when you own a studio with 3 workers, this was one big reason i picked her over the others because i figured she would be able to do them right away

Well it shows online if anything is pending. The over 2k is coming from income taxes return, and yes the swarovski return. The 750 that i was charged nothing i can do about that. It was supposed to be $500 now and then the end of april the rest but they took out $750 now instead
i am very frustrated and just anxious and annoyed right this moment. Ive been trying to stay positive bc trying to enjoy the last 2 months of planning but its not working this very moment
everything will work out in the long run i'm sure.. =) all you can do right now is wait and hope for the best

the worst part is that commerce is stupid and annoying, and i go online to check my statements and for a while i couldn't get on bc they ask you security questions, uhmmm it asked for my moms bday which i do know and it locked my account for over a week, i had to call 3x to keep unlocking it bc they kept saying my answers were wrong-THEY WERE NOT WRONG!!! i know my mothers maiden name, her birthday and things like that lol. I think their system was messed up. SO i didnt know alot of these things, i just figured that swarovski credited me back since the girl said it goes back right away(i just got off the phone with them and they say now it does take days), income tax return checks ALWAYS took one week exactly, fh used my accountant and he got his 1 week to the day, i just got off the phone with him and he told me for some reason at this moment its taking 2 weeks . The worst part is i have to give my friend money, i deposited a check into her account and it was returned so now i have to give her the money today, but meanwhile ive had so many wedding things to pay for lately that all the money i did have in my checkings i kept having to pay things off. Thought i was fine considering theres over 2k i should have in my checking account but I DONT, i have money in there but on t op of what i have theres over 2k missing between the income tax return, swarovski not crediting me back for charging me double, someone taking out $750 when it was supposed to be only $500, its a mess right now.

i can, i'm just lazy b/c alll my automatic payments come out of that account, direct deposit, etc. fh and i will open a joint account somewhere else and then i'll just transition over.

well the calligrapher she is sending it directly to her, i told her to do that bc for her to send it to me and then me to send it to the calligrapher is going to waste time. SHe doesnt need to send the invites to her just the shipping slips that will go on top of the box so that is what is being sent to her. The invites will go to me, and then when the calligrapher is done she will mail me the slips.

even if your not a student...tell them you are. when they started that bs about charging for going under a certain balance there was noooo way i was gonna stay with them because i always go under $100. so i went to the back told them im a student and they switched it to a student checking. i am a student but they didnt check otherwise.

I know this is very frustrating Denise. Don't worry about the time I know you would have liked to have them sent out already but just remember that most of your guests know your wedding date and I'm sure they have the date saved.
I hope she gets back to you soon so you can at least know what progress she has made. good luck and don't worry everything will work out!

OMG, are they really this bad? Wonderful. FH and I just opened a joint checking their because he thought his job only could do direct deposit in Commerce or the Credit Union and the credit union SUX! He found out after we opened it that he could have done any bank. I've had my account with Bank of America for 10 years! I much more would have prefered that. I think we're going to switch if this is how they are!

OMG!! i would be effin flippin right now!!!! i mean what's so hard with being honest? doesn't she understand that the non-contact is getting u more upset than if she replied promptly with the truth (even if the truth is something u wouldn't want to hear)!!!!! was this a case where she was being greedy and took on the job when she knew she couldn't fulfill!
i hope this gets resolved quickly. call the calligrapher to see if they got the slips, atleast you'll know that! when u get the invites, mail them out from the city...things literally get to addresses in NY the nxt day!
