I quit my yoga memebership and now I feel like I have to do something to keep my body moving.
What exercize and/or diet plans are you girls doing for your wedding?

Re: Getting in Shape for Wedding
I went to a personal trainer at Bally's twice a week to do weight training. I also joined Jazzercise for my cardio.

I bought the Buff Bride workout. Had I stuck to it, it definitely would have worked to tone me up.

I do various aerobic videos. I just did 'Jillan Michaels' 30 Day Shred' today. It was great...hit all the muscle groups w/cardio and toning in 20 minutes! Check out collagevideo.com for all types of exercise videos!

Re: Getting in Shape for Wedding
I go to NYSC! I do about one hour cardio 3 times a week and then weights for about 1/2 hour to tone. Sometimes, I take the yoga and full body conditioning classes I also watch what I eat. I do not deprive myself but I eat in small portions and regularly. I love salads so I eat plenty of them. I also have a healthy breakfast, heavy lunch, and very light dinner. I don't eat anything after 7 PM or 8PM (if I go to the gym that day)
I hope this helps

UGG - I haven't done anything. At least you're thinking about it. My wedding is in 5 weeks. I hope my fitting today (first one) knocks some motivation into me and my big mama arms!!

One donut won't kill you ; once in a while is good to indulge. I actually have my days. I am of a hispanic background and we love fatty food believe me.....I indulge I actually don't really like cookies, cake or sweets in general, so that is a good thing....I guess; but I still like my latino food My FH is Italian/Greek.....lots of indulgence there as well

Re: Getting in Shape for Wedding
It's ok to eat bad foods once in a while just balance it out with heathy ones and don't do it every single day. If you deprive yourself you will go insane!! I loved pilates at NYSC, I felt better the very next day. I have a gym in my building so I like to run about 5x a week 4 miles and some days I do weights with FH.

Re: Getting in Shape for Wedding
Cardio Kickboxing...! You will shed unwanted weight and tone up ALL your muscles in no time. None the less, you don't feel like you are working out...it's more fun then anything.

Re: Getting in Shape for Wedding
Kickboxing is really great. I used to do it 3x a week and got really cut. Unfortunately, I got bored with the gym because classes were very repetitive and boring after a while.

The place by me is great... she makes sure not to use the same or simular routine each night... I go 2x a week and look foward to what i'll learn next. It's tons of fun.

Re: Getting in Shape for Wedding
Just an FYI- for girls in Suffolk County, I've been taking a 10 week Total Body Shaping and it's fabulous!! The class is really fun and I've lost 6 inches overall and I'm only 1/2 way through. It's cardio kickboxing and weight training. I wish I had known about this before my wedding!!
