Sooo what is everyone doing to lose some weight before the wedding. I know I want to lose 10lbs but it's so hard to do. I just feel that little extra weight will make all the difference. I'm already working out 3-4 days a week!! What are all of you doing, and has anything worked?

If you aren't already, try adding some light weight training. It'll help you build muscle which will help burn fat. Running is also pretty good. You don't have to run fast, a slow steady pace works well for 20 minutes or more. Start out slow...literally just run around the block for the first few times & build up from there!
Also try watching your fat intake...they say to lose weight try and keep it between 20-30 grams a day...hope this helps! Now if i could just stick with what i told you i'd be better off myself!

23 lbs from a nutrionist
keep working out and drink lots of water! also as mentioned in another thread i believe by nina, oatmeal helps ALOT!!! I eat that quaker oatmeal express for breakfast. Good luck! Im sure those 10 lbs will come off and even if you dont youre STILL going to be a beautiful bride! Remember sometimes youre better off toning than weighing less....muscle does weigh more than fat!

Re: getting in wedding shape?
Ive been eating whatever I want, but in small portions since February and dropped 12lbs. I also do 45 mins of cardio 4-5 times a week and weights 2-3x a week but Ive been doing that for years.
I decided to do the 'eat whatever I want plan' becaue I didn't want to go back in the cycle of counting and deprivation. It really really works!!!
And I try to stop eating by 7 on weeknights.. also helps!!

I agree about the oatmeal..........plus it helps lower chloesterol!!
I'm thinking about joining Ladies workout express. You get a discount if you are a bride and if you bring anyone from your BP in with you they get a discount also. I'm really looking to tone up........especially my arms being that I'm in strapless!!!
