I am. We live in Rockland NY and we're having our reception on LI, so it was just easier for us to find a church on LI.

We are! FH and I are both currently catholic but are thinking of changing religions. We found a Lutheran church that we both absolutely fell in love with and the pastors are both fabulous and made us feel so welcome. Were going through classes now to become members.

FH and i are trying to get married at the church that his family is part of...his sister got married there...technically he's a member as well...but, b/c i'm not, his church made me get a 'letter of consent' from my church saying it was okay to get married somewhere else...the reason we're trying for his church is b/c i moved and haven't joined a new church yet...my old church is just too far away to get married at....it's a BIG hassle having to do all this though!!!

I am
We had my grandmothers funeral mass there and my family and I fell in love with the church but even more with the priest. I knew i had to get married there. It's wierd but I feel like my grandma would be happy if i got married there. I was really excited that they agreed to it!!

I am. I am moving out to LI and we are getting married there. No sense in having everyone come to the church in SI then go out to the reception in LI. FH just joined the church because it is one in which many of his friends were married in, his sister was married in and his niece and nephew were married in.
