So, FH got laid off Tuesday and is now without insurance. So, we're going for our marriage license this afternoon and will be getting married one day next week by the JOP. Happening so fast but I know it's the right thing to do. Making lemonade out of lemons as someone said to me earlier. Pretty darn excited to be honest.
We're still doing our Vegas ceremony and still going to have our NY reception. We're not exchanging rings at the JOP and I will not be taking his last name until the 'official' wedding next year. Wanted this to be a quick and private thing, but my mother isn't having it. Buying me a bouquet and taking everyone out to dinner after the ceremony. So basically we're having 3 parties! Too funny.
So while my wedding date is 2009, I'm still a 2010 girl at heart.

UPDATE: We're getting married 3/20/09. The first day of spring! Will definitely posting pics. My SIL and mother flipped when I told them I'd just wear something out of the closet and just go after work. So now I'm leaving early to get my hair and makeup done and going to buy a new outfit this weekend. My family is killing me!

Awwww, thanks everyone! It is total craziness. Here I was lamenting that we weren't going to have our wedding and we end up with 3 celebrations LOL.
