What church time were you given? What time does your cocktail hour start?

Our church asked us what time we would like. We chose 3pm and our cocktail hour starts at 7. We want to be able to take pictures in between so that we can enjoy cocktail hour too.

Our church gave us the option of 3PM or 5PM. Our cocktail hour starts at 7PM so we chose the 3PM church to give us plenty of time for pictures. We're doing a full mass and otherwise it would have been rushed and there woud have been a half hour window for pictures and I am NOT missing my cocktail hour!

Our church usually has a 3pm start time since the church has a school that gets dismissed at 2:20 with all of the busses and parents. We are getting married on Black Friday so te school is closed and we picked earlier to try and salvage as much daylight as we can. The priest told us we could really pick whatever time we wanted since they have nothing going on on Fridays. Our cocktail hour is at 6:30.

Since it's a Friday our church let us pick the time. We chose 5:30pm and our cocktail hour starts at 7:30. Sun sets early in the winter so we are doing a first look and all pictures BEFORE church. We chose the later time in hopes of more people coming to the church..

Our church is 2:30 and cocktail hr starts at 6pm. Originally we had our church at 3, but recently moved it up a half an hour to give more time for picture. FH and I are also trying to make at least half of our cocktail hour. Our wedding is also the day after Thanksgiving, so most people have off that day, which made it easier for the earlier start time.

Edit: we are just having the marriage ceremony not the full mass.

We were given the option for 3, 5, or 7 since no one booked yet. We chose 5pm cocktail hr at 8pm. We are not having a ceremony.

were doing 3pm church and 7pm cocktail hour, with a fall wedding were going to do our best to make that time work for pictures in between. Hoping for some beautiful sunset shots :)
