Getting Nervous...When do people starting RSVP-ing NO?

Oy, we accounted for a 20% decline rate like everyone says. We have a high minimum - 200 people - but we were hoping not to go over it by much at all. We still have plenty of RSVPs left, but so far we have more than 40 yes and only 2 no - and many of the yes RSVPs are not even people who we were positive would say yes in the first place.

Do more people RSVP no closer to the deadline?

We had an overwhelming number of YES rvsps soon, something like 70 and 4. The NO rsvps are starting to trickle in. Your NOs will come, I know of quite a few people who already told me they cant come that didnt mail yet

Edit: we invited a little over 300 -- my mom is expecting 237 exactly but we have a lot of OOTers who we know can't come. Our min is 160 and I think we'll be closer to 215

No's come later. Have no idea why but people wait until the last minute just to say no. So annoying.

LOL not that I don't want people to come - I do - but I reallllllly don't want to be too far over our minimum because we budgeted for just slightly over 200 to come.

Yeah that annoys me, too! I know quite a few guests who aren't coming and they haven't sent their cards back yet. If it were me, and I knew I couldn't go, I would send it back right away! I don't know what they're waiting for!!
