Getting no where...

I feel like every time I look at photographers I get more confused. On a brighter note I ordered my gifts to ask our bridal party today and booked our hotel block lol. What do you guys think of studio 27?

My friend booked studio 27 and she loves them.

I'm in the same boat with photographers. Studio 27 was our front runner until we met with Franklin Square Photography. Unfortunately, I called Franklin Square to make an appointment to put down a deposit and our date got booked sometime between Friday and today. FH isn't totally convinced that he wants Studio 27 so back to searching.

What other photographers have you met with?

I looked at silver fox, dejavu, spellman studios, golden moments, and studio 27. Maybe I should look at Franklin square.. Why did you like them better than studio 27?

I would definitely check out Ruby Star. She is the house photographer for the Paramount in Huntington so she is really good at photojournalism but also does awesome traditional photos as well!

I also booked my hotel at the four points. I love Alicia! She was the one that set up my blocks. She is fantastic!

This is why I'm glad I had a photographer before I got engaged. Thank god for family friends who do useful things for a living lol.

What is it that you're looking for in a photographer? That may help you narrow your search. I saw about 15-20 photographers before I booked mine. I saw studio 27, I didn't choose them for a reason. My fave photogs who I met with were Thomas Paul, JayLim, lighthouse (clearly), and silver fox. We ultimately chose lighthouse because we clicked best with Florio.

Check out Fade to Black too! Studio 27 was on my list of photographers to see, but we ended up not making an appointment because we clicked with FTB so much.

I was going to Recommend Lighthouse/Florio. We just loved him and all his work. Unfortunately our budget is microscopic so we had to go else where but If I had the funds hands down would have booked them!

Have you tried looking at photographers outside of LI? I wasn't really feeling any of the ones I was seeing, so I expanded my search to Manhattan and Brooklyn. I have found a TON that I love since doing that. The prices are a bit steeper but it's something I'm willing to pay for to ensure my vision comes across in the photos. Good luck!
