i read that it may be caused by my bc...anyone ever experience this?
its creating a LOT of tension between fh and i.....

yes i am contemplating going off for the same reason. fh and i decided i would go off but wait til after the wedding for 2 reasons....1. bc i dont wanna chance having an accident and being preggers for the wedding...2. bc i am supposed to get my period for the hm but if i stay on the pill i can skip it.

I haven't been on BC in like 10 years (my body rejects every form of the pill/ring etc.) I have to say that my libido is fine and when I was on it-it was at a zero..........go off it!

I went through this too and I considered going off the pill, but slowly, i got through it and I now blame FH when we go through dry spell b/c he's a workaholic

Ive been on BC since I was 14...without any issuse. (except when I was on ortho lo...I was having emotinal break dwns every 5 seconds) It seem lately Im having the same issues...I have no drive at all. I think Ill be goin off soon too.

This causes a ton of tension between us too....FH is super understanding but I just feel awful about it...
At this point I have my cycle going perfectly so that I don't have my period for the wedding and honeymoon and my skin should be clear (I break out bad right before my period)
This is a very hard thing to sort out though...I'm often at a loss also. I def do not want to get pregnant, but it makes be feel so bad

Awww that stinks. Be careful getting off the pill. I got pregnant a few months after getting off the pill. I can't take it anymore due to health reasons, and havent been on it in YEARS! But still be extra careful!

SORRY!!! hahah I'm sure if you switch to something else it would be fine. But anything that has hormones (patch, that thing they insert) will probably cause that problem. *****!
Why can't they have a pill that the man has to take!?

I am in the same boat. FH is SUPER understanding, but I feel horrible. I am just hoping its all of the stress we are going through with the wedding, buying a house, and some family issues. So - I am praying and hoping things will be different after the wedding...

I went off the pill in September for that reason, and my drive is way back up. We use other forms of protection.
For me, it wasn't worth taking the pill when we weren't having sex! I will probably go on it right before the wedding, just to avoid getting my period the day of the wedding/on the honeymoon, then I'll go back off it again. It's just not worth it for me.

I just read that there's a new no hormone BC that just came out...maybe ask your gyno about that?

I came off it and feel generally better. I didn't really like the idea of putting something like that into my body for years on end.

im having the same issue. but i plan on going off of it after the wedding because i dont want to get preggers before the wedding. i wouldnt really care if i got preggers but i just wanna fit into my dress!

I was on the pill for 10 years and have been off of it for the past 4 months. I gained 10 lbs so far!! I also have cramps that make me wanna commit suicide and my boobs shrunk. ***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
