Getting rid of tan lines
Hi girls! I'm getting married next May and will be wearing a strapless gown. As of right now I have definite tan lines from my tank swimsuit. Don't laugh , but do you think they will be gone by May or should I try to fill them in this summer? ( A friend of mine got married in March and you could see her summer tan lines). Any other suggestions on how to hide them if they are not gone? Thanks.

Re: Getting rid of tan lines
I've been going to the tanning salon. It works wonders. I have a great tan for my wedding in 3 weeks. I know it's not healthy, but I only go for occassions. Especially my wedding.

I also will be going to a tanning salon for my may wedding. I will start going in April.FH is also going so we have a healthy glow for the wedding and we will also have a base for our honeymoon.

Re: Getting rid of tan lines
I am another tanning salon believer. You get an all over tan that the beach doesn't ever compare to. I would say that is the way to get rid of those tan lines, start going a few months before your wedding and they will be gone. I always use a strapless bathing suit at the tanning salon or at the beach so I don't get those lines, I guess I am anal!

Re: Getting rid of tan lines
You can also go to the Avon Salon in NYC, they will exfoliate your whole body and then do a very even self tanner that lasts about two weeks.A friend of mine had it done for two different occasions and it came out unbelieveable. When you go on your honeymoon you can still get a real tan that can be seen when the self tanner fades.
You may want to have that done just to cover your strap lines.
The whole body one costs about $250-$300 but is well worth it! My friend who had it done can't be in the sun too long so it worked great and looked soooo real!

Re: Getting rid of tan lines
I have some very interesting tan lines. I work outside during the summer as a swimming instructor and I'm in a bathing suit all day long. I have a very interesting x on my back with nice strap lines as well. I have off only on Sat. when I try to work on those lines. After I finish teaching in 2 weeks I'll try to lay out more and go to the tanning salon to work more on those lines.Welcome New Vendors
