I'm Rachel and my Fiance's name is Nick. Until last June we spent our entire relationship apart from each other. We started dating in the middle of freshman year. I was away at 'Cuse and he was in the city. If that wasn't hard enough I decided to study abroad in florence for a semester. Finally, when I graduated i moved to the city, but Nick bought a place in RVC. Last year we moved in together. By the time we are married we will have been together for 8 years. Crazy! I work in the city at an investment manager. I usually just tell people hedge fund because its easier. My friends think I am Chandler Bing. No one understands what I do. I am a compulsive shoe-shopper. Nothing can get in the way of my and my choos!

Yay!! This is fun. My name is Gina and FH's name is Randy. I grew up in Lindenhurst. I graduated from HS in 1998 and then went to FIVE different colleges before graduating from Dowling with a BA in History and I am now working on my MBA. FH grew up in Pittsburgh (go Pens! My Kenneth Pool dress is counting on you!!! LOL) He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and is a super genius I work for Nikon in Human Resources, it's a pretty fun place to work... no real complaints. As for my hobbies I love to travel, FH and I take lots and lots of vacations. We enjoy eating out, I tell FH all of the time that he is a food snob!! Randy loves going into the city which works out because then I get to go to the ballet, the opera or broadway shows. We love going out east to the wineries. Mostly we love hanging out with our Mini Schnauzer Darwin. I like reading (currently addicted to Twilight) and photography, I always have a camera with me!!! But mostly we're laid back people... I prefer jeans and flip flops over anything else... I like sleeping late and bumming around... and NOW my most favorite thing to do is plan my wedding and talk to you girls!!!

Im Jen Fh is Chris , I m from Whitestone, Chris Elmont we have been together for 10 years this fall, I grad. high school in 1999, Fh 97 he went to Hofstra after( class of 2002) I am an office manger and will be going back to college after the wedding to finish my degree in education, , FH and I both still live at home but this Fall we will be looking to buy our own place we get along great with eachothers family, he can talk with them and him and my brother go surfing and snowboarding together. I have been a member since 08 but really stated getting into this last few mths I love to see what other people are going thur with there wedding plans and feel everyone really supports each other which what can be a very stressful tme and its nice to talk with people, other then our FH family and friends( who I think really get sick of me talking about my wedding LOl) sometimes great to just vent and just get support back or know other people are going thur the same thing!

I grew up in Holbrook and now live with FH in Ronkonkoma. I teach children with autism which is my lifes passion. I know where Bloomsburg is. I went to Susquehanna so I wasn't far from you. I was actually driving through Bloomsburg this past weekend.

Hi! I'm Alyssa and FH is Rob. I'm 24 and he's 26, but we'll be 25 and 27 in August. We're both Leos, which is always interesting! I graduated in 2002 with a BA in English from Binghamton and in 2006 with a MS in Adolescent Ed from Dowling. I teach at an alternative HS in Hempstead and I love my job! FH and I just bought a house and we're anxiously waiting to close and move in. We should be closing by the end of this month! I have a cat named Moogle (hence the username) and I love him dearly. Unfortunately, Rob is very allergic, so he will not be moving in with us . I love to knit, but I can only make scarves right now. I love to cook, but I can't bake to save my life. I'm signing up for weight watchers at the end of this week because I'd like to lose 70lbs before my wedding. I've gained 70lbs since FH and I started dating in Jan of 07 . I can't wait to get married and I'm so happy that I'll get to see all of you get married before me. I think, as of now anyway, that I'm the last bride of 2010...but that could change!

HI My name is Lisa and my FH is Jay. We met in HS (Sachem 2000), but didn't begin dating until Sept 2005, after I moved back from the University at Buffalo (BA psychology). After deciding I hated my psych degree Jay supported my efforts in going back to school to get my RN. Jay was also going to college as well at Farmingdale. He is currently a project manager for a website development company. So last spring/summer we got a kitty (Leonidus Theodore - 'Leo'), bought a condo, and I graduated nursing school. I thought the ring was going to come right after I got my license in Sept 08, but he made me wait it out until 03/06/09! I knew we had to get married at Flowerfield because it was 'my dream location.' I was our wedding to be the perfect balance of elegant and over the top! LOL I just recently caught the LIW bug and so far I love it! You guys have great ideas and are so helpful!!!

I'm Traci and FH is Eric. I grew up in Levittown and Eric grew up in Mastic Beach. After high school, I went to Boston University. I worked in NYC for 1 year and then moved to San Diego...followed by Los Angeles. After 4 1/2 years, I moved back to New York. I currently work in the public relations department of a a tech company on Long Island. FH is a carpenter and mostly works in the Hamptons. We bought out first house last year in Shirley. FH has two kids that live with us. His son is 9 and his daughter just turned 6.

Morning all! Im Janis, FH is John. We both have the same initials (JP) and lovingly refer to us sometimes as JP-squared. I want to somehow incorporate this into our monogram too. John is 3 months older than me, but we were born in different years. At the time of our wedding we will both by 28. John and I went to the same college but didnt talk until a few years at an informal college reunion. On our first date, i didnt realize it was a date and i questioned him paying. lol. but its all good!
I am a brooklyn girl. FH is a bayside boy. After college i worked upstate in albany for a little over 4 years. When we started our relationship i was still living upstate, but travelled back to the city about every other week for work, so it worked out. This August we will be together for 3 years. He is my heart and i love him sooo much. Cant wait to marry him - but i know we still have soo much planning and house hunting to do. eeek

Hi, I'm Heather and FH is Tim We live in Middle Island but I grew up in Amityville and he grew up in Sound Beach, We have been together 6 years so far. We have a kitty named Champ and a chocolate lab named Ellie. We love to go mountain biking on the weekends and we are very outdoorsy people in general. We also love 'real' country music--I even know how to two step FH works for a propane company but is working towards a career in law enforcement, and I work as in consumer affairs for a global dietary supplement company. I'm Gaby, FH is Shawn (he posts on here sometimes, snowa5) I am 23, he is 27 (28 in 12 days!! dam my man is craddle robber lol) We have been together 5 1/2 years, met in college (he was the general manager of the radio station and I was vice president of the theatre company) and have been inseperable since. We have a 1 1/2 year old dog named Sophie, she is an australian sheppard and she is spoiled (the dog has more coach than i do for the love of god!!) I am a Medical Laboratory Tech and I work in pharmaceutical research. I am right now working in a speciality department called RIA, I work with radioactive isotopes and all that cool crazy science stuff. Shawn is a sales representative for a natural food company (you know the natural food and international food aisle's in Stop and Shop? Thats his company...) I love LIW and have many some really great friends from this site. Some of whom if I dont talk to every day and see every weekend I get seperation anxiety lol!! This site is full of great ideas and sometimes I cannot imagine how I would have been able to plan my wedding without this site (honestly, how do brides get married and not know about this site??!!)

I am Christine, & FH is Chris. I am 25 & FH is 26. We live together in Brooklyn. We have been together for 9 years. I recently graduated Brooklyn College with a BS in Accounting. I currently work for a law firm in Manhattan where I am in charge of all the finances. FH is still in school but will be graduating in the Fall. He is an environmental studies major with a concentration in Geology.

My Name is Kerri and i am 24 turning 25 in September. My FH is Miguel he will be 36 in Decemeber. We met almost 8 years ago i was completely infatuated with him the first time i saw him but was very worried about the age difference, but now i forgot all the time that he is 11 years older. I work in Times Square for a CPA and he works for NYPD for School Safety. He hates his job but keeps with it for the benefits. We have 15 nieces and nephews between us who are more like our own children. We will be dating for over 8 years when we get married. I was ready after we dated for a year lol, but he wanted to wait until i was older. We are huge Yankee fans, Giants fans. I love anything to do with weddings always have. Mornin'! I'm Erin, i am 24 years old. FH is Matt, 23 years old ( yes i am 8 months older than him ). I graduated from The Mary Louis Academy in 2002 & St. John's University in 2006 with a degree in accounting. FH went to John Adams HS class of 2003 & Nassau CC. I am originally from Richmond Hill, Queens (where FH is from as well) but have been living in Middle Village for the past 4 years. I work in the accounting field, hence my college major & FH dabbles in a couple fields lol -- he is a TSA officer at JFK airport (p/t pending a f/t position), works at a law firm p/t & bartends on the weekends at a catering hall in brooklyn (he used to work at Roma View & Matteos). We have two handsome dogs -- a 3 year old shih tzu named Hercules and a 2 year old jack russell terrier named Rocky. i consider them my children and love them to pieces. FH and i have been together 8 & 1/2 years ... little over 9 when we get married i love to lay on the beach for hours.. take my pups for walks.. party like a rock star & dance on bar tops or be lazy and lay in bed watching a good movie

My name is Kayla, and fh is Michael (I'm the only one that calls him that though-everyone else calls him Mike). I grew up in East Meadow, and he grew up in Wantagh. We both went to Adelphi for undergrad, and met the 2nd week of my freshman year..he was the first boy i kissed in college. We started dating about 4 months later, and have been together ever since-although we didn't 'technically' start dating until july-and we'll be getting married on our 5 year anniversary.
fh works for the post office now as a supervisor, and i just graduated with my MA in education. i currently have an internship at a high school, but im still waiting to hear about a job for next year.
on the side, i teach violin, viola, and cello, and recently got a job as a freelance editor. i also teach adult ged classes.
i tend to be a bit obsessive, and i love to cook and clean. i read a TON, hardly watch any tv, and have to keep myself beyond busy. i go crazy if my life is not organized. i love the beach, but not the sand, and i love to travel.

My name is Erika, my FH's name is Chris.. we don't live together yet, but are planning to move in together this summer. Right now I live in East Rockaway and my FH lives in Valley Stream. I graduated from Lynbrook in 02 and my FH from VSS in 00.
I just graduated from nursing school (Adelphi) in May and I'm looking for a real job! I'm a nursing assistant per diem for now. FH is a personal trainer out in massapequa.

I'm Laura (25) and FH is Brian (33). We'll be 27 and 34 when we get married next year. I grew up in Ozone Park and moved to Farmingdale when I was 14 and still live there now. I graduated from FHS in 2001 and then went to Five Towns College and graduated with a Bachelors in Business Mgmt/ Music Business. FH has lived all over Queens his whole life and still lives there. We're looking for condos in Queens since we both work in the city - I'm a promotion manager for a national liquor company (I've been here for 3 months and I LOVE it) and FH is a doorman at a residential building on the upper east side. We met when his brother's band played a show in Levittown one night and a mutual friend introduced us.
-I love music and going to concerts. -I have a major addiction to designer handbags -We're both total foodies and love eating out and trying new restaurants. -I'm Italian but I don't know how to really cook but I'm learning now so we don't live on take-out when we move in together -I love to travel as much as I can -FH and I are both the oldest of 3 kids -Wedding planning has been so much fun and I don't understand why anyone would want a wedding planner and miss doing all this stuff lol

My name is Jen (one n) and FH's name is Jeremy (Jer).. So together we are Jer and Jen...which sound a like.
I am from Ronkonkoma (Connetquot 2002), he is from Victor (2000- upstate NY).
I went to school at Keuka (upstate) and met Jer there. We were friends for 2 years before dating.
We bought a house after college in Rochester, NY. We are both teachers at the same school. We both went to the same school for our graduate degree.
We have a dog, Roxy (Golden Retriever) and a cat, Bella.
I love to shop, cook, take REALLY long walks with my dog, eat ice cream, read magazines, and relax next to a pool or the ocean.
I love Long Island and wish I was closer to my family. My sister is going to a college in Rochester next year! So my family is slowly coming upstate!
