Do you have a favorite story of the unknown or supernatural...... or something that just freaked you out..... let's hear it....
I have 1 from my BM.......
One night my BM was coming home with his then gf and they were going upstairs to his aprtment. Behind them they heard a noise. Hearing this, they turned around.. to see a shadowy figure standing there.. and in a second he was gone. He asked if she saw something. She answered, 'You mean that guy who was standing there.'
He swears it's true.
And his word is good enough for me.

My FH used to be in the Marines as well and he was stationed at the now closed El Toro. But apparently their Commanding Officer killed himself a while earlier. He was standing watch in their building and one morning he was shaving and he felt someone pass him but turned around and nothing. Then another night while he was there he kept seeing something walking by like a shadow and would walk out and nothing there. He finally got an ax and wouldn't sleep but finally did and when the next crew came in they were scared to wake him up because he had the ax so they yelled at him. And then they asked him what was up he said he saw something they said oh yea we forgot to tell you we see it too. I believe him, but that scares the crap out of me

My grandfather is still at my grandmothers house! The whole family has had many occurances with him!

I lived in a dorm that used to be a orphanage and was haunted... the HISTORY channel even filmed a vignet about it... super creepy i heard knocking on my window one night when it was snowing out (and i was wayyyy high up, no way anyone could knock on my window) I just tried to ignore it and went to bed. there was a story about a boy that went missing from the orphanage that would appear at your window... and that he frooze to death, so you would see his blue face... 'the blue boy' he was known as, i didn't want to see it first hand!!

I used to see a shadowy figure of a woman outside my bedroom door during the night when I was younger. This usually happened after I felt some one sit down on the corner of my bed, which would wake me and of course there was no one there....except the figure by the door.

i love ghost stories!!
in the house i grew up in (my parents still live there) my sister and I had many occurences. I used to see shadowy figures in my room all the time at night and used to tell my mom so much that she finally came in with holy water and sprinkled the room with it. I have felt a presence sit down on my bed at night with no one there, a hand tap me on my shoulder as I was going to bed; again - no one there. My sister and I heard footsteps in the hallway when we were the only ones home and no one was there. I could go on and on but i think i have blocked a lot of it out!!
