Is everyone doing this? I think I am going to get FI a Rolex as a wedding gift, but I don't want to wait till the wedding to give it to him!

What is everyone else getting if anything?

Well right now my FI is only going to get 'ME' as his Wedding Present...We cant afford to get each other gift at this time...All I want is him anyway...

We decided that the house we are having built and the wedding bands are our gifts to each other.

I wanted to get him a Movado also but he beat me to it and bought it himself a few months back. So, a few months ago he mentioned he wanted a diamond crucifix but then said he didn't want me to buy it cuz it would be too much $$$. But as of right now I think that's what I'll get him.

we each bought the others wedding bands, and since we are working on the house, i made him promise to go small..... i'm buying him a pair of white gold earrings that are square & flat on the ear, have onyx laid into them then have 4 diamonds on top of the onyx - i will wear one, and he will wear the other... a pair seperated, but not for long......

I have no clue what to give FI. I was going to give him a digital camera but gave it to him for Hannukah instead. Then I thought of a watch but he inherited a very good watch from his grandfather. Someone earlier mentioned a digital camcorder and since he's into electronics, stereo equipment, and computers, he may be interested in that. He is so difficult to shop for in general and the thought of buying a wedding gift for me makes me want to scream!!!

I got him an engraved pocket watch (he loves pocket watches) and a plaque with our Irish family crests on it. It looks like this, but with our crests instead. He LOVED both gifts.

We decided on no gifts......we just bought a house and we're paying for the wedding so we said we'd splurge on a really nice entertainment unit and a puppy :)

However, I did find an amazing card that made me cry so I'm storing that until the night before the wedding to put on his pillow to read in the morning! I also may send bagels and treats to the house for breakfast for him and the guys.

They'll all show up with cream cheese all over their tuxes.......LOL

we're doing the wedding bands and promising each other a nice souvenir from the HM. last time we went away he bought me a beautiful bracelet and i bought him a watch.
