Gift for Mom

I'm not really into traditional gifts for our parents for the wedding day. I'd like to get something they really would like instead of something for the house like a frame, etc. Anyway I decided to get my mom this Dooney & Burke bag because she really wants one (her initials are DB) and she's been saying to buy her Macy's gift cards for every holiday so she can get it. Soooo, I'm getting her that and I want to get her something more personal and I decided on a keychain similar to the Tiffanys one with the heart. I want to engrave on it 'You're my hero.'
Is the not good for a mom? I want something really special. She and my dad are doing so much for us for the wedding. I want them to know how much it means to me. Suggestions????
AND suggestions for dad's gift? I'm at a loss with that one.

that sounds like a great gift. I still can't figure out what to get the parents so I'm no help with your dad. sorry does he have a favorite sport or team? you could get him something related to that.
