gift for teachers

My daughter has 2 teachers and tomorrow is her last day of 1st grade
I know there are a lot of teachers on the boards
what can we get them that is not 2 much $$$ but still nice???

Definitely a gift card that is NOT teacher related. Most teachers get reimbursed for what they spend, even though usually some go over.

I have gotten numerous gifts at the end of the year for starbucks, and Blockbuster, or even to some department stores. One of the parents wrote in a card to me 'have a cup of coffee on me and relax this summer! Thanks for a wonderful year!' ....and I thought that was simple yet thoughtful and it was not very expensive. I got a few for starbucks for $5 or $10, but I also got a few giftcards for Barnes and Noble that were for various larger amounts.

i'm in a LI public school and DO NOT get reimbursed for my supplies! i get a small stipend from the PTA as a gift at the beginning of the year, but that's it!

my favorite gifts are gift certificates to starbucks, panera, etc. i get anywhere from $5-$50 depending on the kid.

i'M A 1ST GRADE TEACHER,
things I got today : flowers, a plant, picture frame, candle, shower stuff (gels, lotions, etc), gift cards to linens and things and ulta, desk set with pencils and notepad, amex gift checks


The best gift I have ever received... a frame with me and the child and a letter telling me how much I meant to her, it's still hanging on my wall at home!

Or you can do a Beach Themed Bag (Beach Bag, Sunblock, Beach Towel, Sunglasses, Beach Book) - and write 'RELAX THIS SUMMER!'... that would be cute!
