Gift for the host of the Shower

My mother is giving my my shower and my gift to her is that i am finally getting married and she has hope that grandchildren will be coming within the next 2yrs.

I haven't thought about it yet, maybe a spa day with me before the wedding. It would be a nice way to spend time together.

I'm actually doing this. My mom and FH's mom are throwing my shower. I opted to do a display shower because I didn't want to open my gifts because there are going to be too many people (this is where people wrap it in clear, do baskets, or don't wrap it at all). So instead of me opening my gifts, I'm giving the moms gifts to open. I am going to purchase hanckerchiefs for both of them (to use the day of the wedding) and embroider them, and a nice keepsake box for them to keep it in. My mom's not into spa's and FMIL doesn't really use them either.

I thought it was something nice that they moms could use the day of the wedding and a nice thank you. PLUS, the guests still get to see SOMEONE open a present, just not me. I'm going to buy them soon (since my wedding is Sept 2010 and I don't know when my shower is) and give them to one of my bridesmaids. My shower is a suprise so I won't know when to bring them, so she's going to bring them with her.
