Im having trouble trying to figure out a gift for my fiance to give to him before the wedding. He is an electronics/toy kind a guy but I want to give him something more personal. Please let me know if you have any suggestions? Also if you have ideas for parents that would be great too!!

for my fiance (shhhh... don't tell *glances over at him*) I bought him 3 'backup rings.' He's extremely active, and he tends to be hard on rings, so he's worried that he'll destroy or lose his wedding ring wearing it biking or windsurfing or whatever, but the alternative would be going ringless, which doesn't feel right either.
So, I'm buying him 3 'backups' to wear whenever he wants and not worrying about destroying or losing as they're sterling silver and not $500 worth of solid gold. I'm choosing each one to be meaningful in some way, and having them engrave inside.
For our parents, we went a couple of days ago to Things Remembered and bought each of our sets of parents a beautiful silver frame and had them engraved with our names and wedding dates. We're going to put an 8x10 of one of our engagement photos in it as a placeholder until after the wedding, and then give them 8x10s of our wedding photos to put in them. We might do a little something else as well, but I don't think we really need to - it's a way of saying thank you, and our parents won't be expecting anything at all.

i got mine warm socks in case he gets cold feet.
and i got him a handkerchief with a line from our wedding song embroidered on it.
plus we're writing eachother a letter to read that morning.

We decided not to get each other anything and got each other something on our honeymoon instead which was wonderful. I got jewerly and he got a very nice watch which was duty free. We also then got things for the house which we love.

Well, I am simply spoiling him... he wants a flat screen tv so bad...so I got if (really it is for us, so I don't mind spending the money!)
i bought my fiancee-now dh a nice watch-he loves it!

DH got a surround sound for our new house lol.....plus yankee cuff links which ummmm he couldn't find the day of the wedding b/c we moved about a week before our wedding and things were just everywhere haha
for my parents....we got the a sailing excursion around NYC. Check out www.xperiencedays.com plus both sets got an engraved frames which then we will pay for whatever photo they choose to be blown up.

I got my fiance locket cufflinks and had them engraved with our last initial,,and then put pics of his grandparents inside.
When I told him that I was having a locket of my gradfather on my bouquet,,he wanted something to remember his grandparents that passed away too,,,,so Im surpising him with that!!!

what about one of those digital picture frames? where you put the memory card in it and u can pick whatever pic you want? or you can do a slideshow too? that would be pretty cool?

I'm getting him cuff links to be delivered to him the morning of the wedding...with a letter from me. Then I've gotten him things like a leather passport holder for our honeymoon, 'cause I'm always stuck holding his in mine...a gift certificate to The Art of Shaving for a 'morning-of' haircut and shave...and I think I'm going to have to steal the hankie idea too because I know he is going to get teary-eyed!

Well I am not sure if we were doing this... but I honestly think we are planning on getting tattoos after the wedding. We both want a koi fish and we are going to incorporate them into where we want them. (ie mine will be on my left side of my back and his will be mixed in his right arm sleeve)

I bought him a pocketwatch, which he may not use much, but I figured it would be a nice heirloom type thing for the future kids lol (especially since I had it engraved).....I got him cufflinks w/ his initials, and I'm going to get him a GPS navigator (that's almost more of an engagement gift, since he did after all spend some dough to get me a ring!). HTH!

got my FH a LCD TV and some socks that say 'groom' on them...to go with his dad's that say 'father of the groom'...
Since we had to buy the dresses for his sisters and mom, we are not going to buy another gift for his mom...we are just going to give his parents this photo album, and will buy his dad something personal.
