gift help

DH and I deposited the gifts we received not long after the wedding. However when I looked at my account this morning it was smaller than it sholuld be. The reason being that one of the checks bounced.
How should we say something? Should we say something or see if they do first?

This happened to my friend when she got married. I don't think you should say anything. You should wait until they realize that they bounced a check and then contact you. They will probably be very embarrassed and contact you as soon as they realize (would just die if I bounce a gift check)
