Next weekend is my aunt's surprise retirement party. I need some ideas for a gift for my aunt/ godmother's retirement. I will give $$, but looking for a small gift to go with it. What can I get her?
PS My family is very blue-color. My aunt has worked several different jobs in her life including driving a cab and working behind counters/cash registers her whole life.

See that's the thing..she definitely isn't a salon, dinner, show type person......I am talking very blue collar.
She is very into sports and I was thinking baseball tickets but she goes to so many games it won't be very special.

Hey Denise - If she likes baseball how about tickets to the Staten Island Yankees. I hear their games are great. The tickets aren't expensive but maybe you can make it an event a bunch of you can go to. The website is siyanks.com. This would only work of course if she is a Ynakees fan. lol
