I was thinking of getting fH a pocketwatch like this for a wedding gift (he's a volunteer Fireman and aspires to be in FDNY) and kind of using it as a men's locket to tuck a pic of him and his dad inside.
His dad passed away in December, and I thought it might be a nice way for his dad to be 'with us' that day. Do you think it would make FH too sad to give him something like this on our wedding day?

thats really sweet kerri i love the idea!! it actually made me trear up ive been really emotional lately but i think its really sweet and 'manly' at the same time i think he'll love it!
