Every year we all usually chip in for FMIL's birthday.
The woman does not like gift cards.
We got her a steak knife set last year too.
Throw me some ideas that 3 couples can chip in for.

What about a weekend away? Maybe somewhere not too far of a drive like Newport, RI or even Philly!

Getaways are hard, since they do travel alot and FFIL keeps having all these medical procedures, someone did a boat cruise gift for them a while ago and they made comments about that. lol.
I wouldn't mind that though....

I said jewelry, something she can wear for the wedding and FSIL said they did that for her 3 years ago and she ended up not wearing it. LOL.

I think tickets to a show is a great idea - I know my MIL, or my own mom for that matter, wouldn't spend money on that for herself.
