Has this happened to any of you yet? We got an RSVP envelope yesterday with a YES response and they put a check in for their wedding gift NOW? By all means I am NOT complaining.. I am going to send out a nice thank you for Monday morning and intend on sending a nice picture one after the wedding.. I just have never heard of this...
I never heard of this either but it's a nice surprise.
I have gotten checks with RSVPs marked no but not for one marked yes.
yeah we got a few rsvp's back with a check in them but they were all from guests who couldn't come. Not from anyone who said yes. Maybe they wanted to get it out of the way while they had the money. Or maybe they hate having to carry it that day lol.
People do that???? YAY!!! So cool. I didn't realize that people would send gifts in an RSVP envelope!!!
We have only gotten gifts in RSVP envelopes when the answer was 'no.' I assume most people are going to give a present at the wedding itself.
that's great. i've been wondering about this, i got about 10 NO's with no gift.
We have only gotten 5 No's so far.. which was surprising to see the check and a Yes.. but i guess whatever works...
That's actually kinda cool! I'm sure you could use some money right now, and that was probably their thought :o)
FH thought that this was super cool when I told him about this. 'So people might actually give us gifts NOW??? When are those invites going out????' was his reaction.
