Ok so this is a bit of a weird one. One of my guests RSVP’s no and sent a check, then a few days later called my mom and said that they could make it after all. So my question is- what do I do with the check? Do I deposit in now or wait until after the wedding? TIA

I would call the person & ask what they want you to do. Some people feel strange walking into a party without an envelope in hand.

Deposit it now. If I were the guest I'd want you too cuz you'd be messing up my checkbook lol. (Yes... i'm a rare one who still keeps and balances a checkbook almost daily)

I feel sort of weird calling them. Maybe I'll have my mom call since they called her in the first place.
