Gifts

I am still unsure of what to get my bridesmaids and maid of honor as gits for the wedding. I have 5 bridesmaid and a maid of honor. What and where did you get your girls gifts? There are so many ideas out there I just need a few more ideas and where to get them. Plus how much are you spending on each?

i got them a coach wristlet and a coach candle.

my bp didnt do anything.. they just had to buy a dress. they werent told how to wear their hair, make up.. none of that.

my mom threw my shower.

seriously no involvement AT ALL

i even paid for my bach party. lol

i think i was more than generous.

i think the more your bp does, the better the gift..according to your budget of course.

i wanted to get my girls all purses - was planning on getting them coach bags but i found these really cute swarovski yellow flower rings so I picked one up for each one. FMIL thinks that's more enough so instead of getting each one purses, I might just get them wristlets instead - or wait for a RM sample sale and buy something for them there.

My BP has been very uninvolved and I anticipate the won't do/pay for anything except their own gowns and makeup/hair.

I'm planning on getting them nice DOJ and taking them out to lunch to present it to them (so probably about $50pp).

I plan on getting them hair and make up if they want it. I was also think necklaces from Tiffany's they around $100 each. but idk yet.

I didn't get my girls anything yet but I plan on getting them DOJ and a gift certificate to get their hair done to whichever salon they made an appt at. Then depending on how much I've spent, I may get them an over night bag too.

I kinda agree with Barbara in a way.. not saying that the BM dont deserve anything.. but I have strong feelings on this topic.. Im doing everything, paying for everything, my mom and gram are paying for my shower.. ALL my girls are doing is buying a dress so Yes I am getting them a necklace or coach item but not spending more than 75 pp. Its like a huge added expense to everything else and I have 9 girls. Im far from a bridezilla, i even said choose the style dress just stay with the color I picked. I dont expect any special treatment cuz its MY day..I truly cant stand bridezillas lol so im doing everything in my power to be as nice and fair and inconvinient as possible. Ive been in some horror weddings so i wanna stere far from that hahah

Makeup brush kit - BM's only
Lip gloss kit - BM's only
Bath & body kit - MOH's only
Pashmina
Totes ballet slippers
DOJ necklace
DOJ earrings also - for MOH's and FSIL only
Lolita wine glasses
Double-sided picture frame (I'm putting an old pic of me with each BM on one side and leaving the other blank for their choice of wedding pic)
Brooch for their dress
Jewelry pouch

so far. . . .I got them Rebecca Minkoff Cosmetic bags! I'm sure they'll like them (but I'm totally obsessed!). And I've picked up a few small things. . . .I'm not sure what else though. We all have time, I just wait till I see a deal and jump on it!!! haha

I have 9 BM (including my matrons of honor), so I gotta always make sure to buy in bulk!

(I want to get make up to put in the make up bag)

Just to let you know. . . .RM had a black friday sale last November!! Similar to her Sample sale just online. Look out for that this year too!

Probably coach clutches that go with the dress and maybe some jewelry.

My mom also owns a nail salon so mani's, pedi's, waxing if they want it is all included the day before. I love my girls but they are really laid back and I don't really anticipate them getting very involved. I still want to get them a nice enough present though.

i plan on getting them broaches for their dresses, I reallly want to make feather pins for their hair, and I am paying for them to get their hair done, since I am asking that they all wear it up.

I will also get DOJ. Plan on buying pearls.
Not sure how much that it but I know my mother will be paying for shower so the girls really just need to buy the dress.

my one friend put all of our gifts in a sporty nylon backpack type thing (the ones with the strings that pull it shut, and the same strings go on your shoulder) from Victoria's secret. the put tissue paper in the top to dress it up a bit. they were cute.

That's a great idea!!! I though of a sporty gym bag (personalized) too!
