Gifts at a bachelorette??

I just got an invite to a friend's bachelorette and it says on the bottom:

Your presence is your gift. Please don't bring X a gift.

Have you ever taken a gift to a bachelorette? I haven't....... ???

I've gone to lots of bachelorettes and it's always after the shower so you've already given a gift. This one is a bar crawl... would she just carry them around with her from bar to bar?

So confusing.....

Are you still having a limo even though it's a bar crawl?

MY Friend brought a blow up doll a man of course! It was the funniest thing! We had him hangign out the window, and people must have thought we were nuts! But it was fun until he deflated. LOL a small hole leaked all the air out!

I've never heard of giving gifts to the bride at a bachelorette party....unless its at someones house and it's one of those 'naughty toys' type parties.

Nobody gave me any 'gifts' at my bachelorette party except for the sash and tiara...and they were actually given to me at my shower which was earlier the same day.

Sometimes people give a bottle of liquor or a cute pair of undies that says 'bride' on it... something like that. For mine I jsut want everyone to get me a drink and I'll be happy!!!

I've never taken a gift to one myself but I have seen it where the BM's/MOH give little toys as gifts.

I don't think its mandatory but always an added bonus.
