gifts for church readers????

gifts for church readers????

Do you typically get a gift for the readers?? If so, does anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks!

i was a reader many times, and once a reader and not part of the bridal party....it was for my cuzin...and he gave a me a gold chain with a lil heart charm....and it really wasnt expensive.- I'd say 40-50 bucks max

Our readers are our aunts. So we brought them a frame and we are going to take a picture with each one of them at the wedding and give it to them too.

I was a reader for my cousin's wedding years ago and got a bottle of perfume. No meaningbehind it, just a nice gesture on their part. I've heard girls on here say they give bookmarks or gift certificates to a book store. I like those ideas.

I'm going to get them something, but I haven't picked them yet, so I don't know what their gifts will be.

I'm not sure what I am going to get them but I do want to get them something small. Maybe a nice engraved bookmark or a gift card to borders....I was thinking something 'book' related.
