I am sending out my e-party invites Monday. My maid and matron are coming over to put invites together tomorrow night. How many of you included registry info with invites? So far, I don't want to as our wedding website info is on the invite. Also, if you had an e-party already and didn't include registry info, did you recieve gifts from most people?

We had our engagement party on 4/10 and did not include our registry info in the invitation. However, almost all of FH's family called asking what they could buy because they didn't want to give money so we made a small registry and let the guests who asked know. I'd say about 40% of the guests ended up giving gifts. HTH

We got all cash gifts.

Thanks ladies! We regsitered for Wedgewood China and a few other things but we didn't go crazy.

We did not include any registry info with our e-party invites. WE received a lot of money istead..which was great!!

about 1/3 gave us money, 1/3 gifts like photo frames, and 1/3 nothing I don't think I would do a registry for an engagement party unless you are moving in together soon and need stuff

according to etiquette, you're not supposed to include registry info with e-party invites, or wedding invites either-the only time it's acceptable is for a shower
that being said, when we had our eparty we got gifts from everyone who attended..i would say about 1/2 cash/gc 1/2 registry items..you can always spread the word by talking to ppl about where you're registered..

I could be wrong, but I think that etiquette states that you should not include registry cards with e-party invites. If you are registered somewhere, you're guests should be told my word of mouth. I think alot of people give cash gifts though for an e-party.

I didn't plan on including registery cards and I'm still not. We registered for a few things because I know some people are weird about giving cash. Thanks ladies!

We had our e-party right after our engagement last year and registered for small stuff at target. If anyone asked when they rsvped my mom told them or relativea told each other :) worked out nicely......

Registering is better only because u won't get that many picture frames!!!! Most of my friends that didn't register got like 20 picture frames !!!!!

LOL! That is exactly why we reistered! I was so afraid of getting pointless stuff that I would never use or end up putting on ebay!

Our e-vites I didn't include registry but FMIL wanted us to register for her friends. FH side got us gifts off of it, my side/friends gave cash and along with cute irish gifts or personalized gifts!

We didn't register I said it was too early to think of a thing like that, but I did get some items - one was a feather down blanket (that I'm allergic to) and the other was crystal chip n dip server (the couple wasn't invited because they were in Florida but it was such a nice gift.) I also got a Lennox photo frame. The rest of the gifts were cash.
