Gifts for mom and MIL

I'm trying to find a unique/different gift to give my mom and future MIL at my wedding shower. Any suggestions.

im not sure what you are looking for, but as a mothers day gift, we gave our moms a gift certificate to have their makeup done the day of our wedding....they loved it!

Mother's Day, we bought Mom and MIL gift certificates for their makeup for the wedding day... and for a 'Thank you Mom' gift I bought my Mom her wedding jewelry. MIL - we're getting her a pair of earrings that she mentioned she wanted from Tiffany's a while back. If I don't get that forMIL...

then we're getting them a gift certificate for a one or two night stay in the Hamptons for a summer getaway for her and FFIL.

Thanks for the suggestions. I like both the gift certificate idea and also the jewerly. I'm not looking for a mother's day gift, i'm looking for a thank you gift to give them at my wedding shower. Thanks again for all the help!
