I decided I'm sending my parents to Las Vegas for 5 days...thats what they love...since they're paying for the wedding...as far as my fil's I;m not sure since they're not doing much for the wedding at all.
nylisa, did you write those poems? They are all very nice.
Not personally. I got the poem from susans (I think) and just changed some of it around.
nylisa, those are very sweet. i've seen what you are doing for your bms as well...you've got very lovely ideas...it's nice to see we all do remember to take time to appreciate what others are doing for our big day! best of luck to you and thanks for the ideas!
Thanks
oh, i WISH i could send my parents away...we are putting in about 1/2 for our wedding, so it's just too much for us. sounds very nice though. what do you all think about gift certs for a nice night out to dinner for them?
I am buying something for my mom and giving it to her before the wedding. She has given us a little towards the reception and is currently working on little projects for me. As far as his parents, no they are not getting anything. They are not contributing towards the wedding nor are they giving us the HM as promised (dont ask).
We decided on getting both sets of parents airline vouchers. That way, they also can get a rest after the wedding.
those poems are beautiful!
We had 3 sets of parents since mine are remarried. We gave them mahogany wood photo albums that were engraved 'Albert Family Memories' , engraved with their family names. We got it at things remembered. For our two readers in the ceremony we got them the smaller version of that photo album also engraved.
