Re: Gifts for Reader

What about a nice pen, or a nice bookmark -- silverplated or something or inscribed with his initials? Or book ends.

Re: Gifts for Reader

i think it's nice to get the reader a little keepsake. I don't think the people that bring up the gifts need one though. I think a silverplated possibly monogrammed book mark would be a great idea!

Re: Gifts for Reader

They have some nice pens at 'Things Remembered' for $14.95 on sale, then there are also some more expensive ones, but the ones on sale are pretty nice.
I got one for myself and FH the other day, they were able to engrave our entire name on the pens, even middle names !!!! The engraving part only cost $5 for the whole name.

Re: Gifts for Reader

Claud2001 gave me a beautiful silver bookmark with my initial on it when I was one of her readers. It is a great gift for a reader.

Re: Gifts for Reader

We didn't get any of the readers gifts. We just made sure they had either a corsage or a bout to wear that day to make them stand out.

Re: Gifts for Reader

We got our readers all a really nice bookmark. I think they were $20 each. I think a little token gift is a nice thing.
