Gifts for the bridal party????????

I am having a problem with gifts to get the bridal party. I have my sister (MOH) my future sister in law and my friend (bridemaids) and my friends daughter (flower girl). We also have 5 men in the bridal party. If anyone can give me some suggestions that would be great.

I was thinking of getting the girls something like a necklace to go with the dresses they are wearing but I want them to have something that they can use or wear or something that they just won't put on for that day only.

Gifts for the bridal party????????

Hi. Just a suggestion. I got all my girls including the flower girls dress bags that match their dresses. My girls are wearing black so that was easy and then my flower girls are wearing lavendar and white so I got them lavendar bags. I am also having my aunt embroider hankies with their initial. If your girls can wear their dresses again they can always use the bag again. I am going to get something extra for my maid of honor. Hope this helps!!

Gifts for the bridal party????????

For my MOH and bridesmaids I'm considering monogramed mint julep cups - which make great little flower vases. The MOH collects unusual wine glasses so I may go that route for her, maybe a silver frame for the one collecting those....

The guys are tougher - Fi's brother, cousin and uncle and they all have very different likes and lifestyles. He's thinking of a top-of-the-line Coleman cooler for the one that loves to fish, maybe something travel related for the uncle that likes vacationing and the brother is the tough one, because if he wants it he gets it and we're stumped as to what's left that he doesn't have already.

In short, we're probably tailoring it to a special gift that fits the individual, rather than the same thing for all.

I think a nice idea would be to buy the girls pashmina shawls to match their dresses - if it's a color they would wear again. For the guys - your fiance can treat his ushers to a sporting event and all the beer and hot dogs they can eat. That may get expensive but atleast they'll appreciate it.

Gifts for the bridal party????????

When I got married, I got my MOH and Matron of honor spa gift certificates - for a half day and for a massage, pedicure and facial. They loved them!

For my brodesmaids, I got gold earrings but not the same ones for each. I chose ones I thought each would love.

My hubby wanted to make his life easy so he got really nice pens for the guys. And a pen/key chain set for his BM.

I am considering gold jewlery for my 3 bridesmaids -and Maid of Honor. Possibly crystal for the parents - and my fiance wants to get golf jackets for the guys (they all golf). It's an expensive deal, but these people are very special to us.

Gifts for the bridal party????????

I went with a glass theme for my bridesmaids. So each got a basket filled with glasses that fit them. One loves wine, so she got 4 different wine glasses and a wine holder, another got 4 champagne flutes and a champagne holder, another is a huge margharita fan so she got 4 of those types of glasses plus a big glass pitcher and the last loves hot chocolate so I got her 4 glass hot chocolate/Irish coffee type of glass and a pitcher. My sister was my MOH and I got her a silver claddagh necklace.

My husband ordered pullover hooded windbreakers for all the guys from LL Bean. It was a pretty practical gift since they are all pretty ahletic/active and they each got their jacket in their favorite color.

Everyone was thrilled with the individuality of the gift.

guys are tougher

to buy for unless they really love a sport or such. Since 3 of the 4 ushers are amateur radio operators( HAMS) my fi wants to get them small radios (for their haooby that transmit)...the other usher needs to get someting equally cool so we were thinkg about a pair of the Family radios( hi tech walkie/talkie). Since all of these people pare fam or very very close friends,we felt it was worth the money. As for the firls, I bought their presents back in sept- gold braceltes...and the moh's one will have gemstones. the flower girl and ring bearer will each get id bracelts

Gifts for the bridal party????????

My Fiancee was in a wedding and all the guys received cigars and cigar holders. They were very happy smoking them in the limos.

The accessaries for the bridesmaids is very popular. I personally like that idea, or the purses and I saw the nicest compacts that can be initialed in many magazines.

****Try hitting one of the bigger Hallmark stores in one of the malls. I was at one this weekend and they had cake toppers, cake servers, toasting glasses, guest books (didn't see a pillow though)....
