Gifts for the bride or groom

Danielle was telling me last night that some brides and grooms exchange wedding gifts. Are alot of you planning to do this? I never heard of this before.

I made my husband a scrapbook of 'Our Love Story' it was all about is dating, vacations, getting engaged and our engagement party. It really touched him more than any gift would have (or so he told me!!). He bought me a gold cross.

You do not have to buy each other a gift, some decide not the spend that $$$ before the wedding but to keep it until the honeymoon.

Its all up to you.

Alot of people do, but we did not, we considered our wedding rings and our honeymoon a gift to eachother. We just made sure on the Honeymoon we bought what we wanted.

I don't think we can afford anything other than the wedding itself! LOL

Roger and I exchanged gifts on our wedding day. I gave him sterling silver cufflinks and he got us matching African garbs. I love them. I will share a pix with you. It does not take any special planning, give her something she can wear on the day of or something she can used all the time. Some people give watches, necklaces etc. It does not even have to be costly
