Gifts from people who can't make it
We received a lovely wine basket from someone who is unable to attend our wedding. Do we send a thank you card now, or wait until after the wedding so we can include a photo?

You can send one now so they know you appreciate it and once you get your pictures you can send them a picture of you and your husband. I wouldnt put it in another thank you.

Perhaps you can send a plain thank you now but you can save the wine for a toast on your wedding or afterwards (or something) and have a picture taken, then after the wedding you can send your thank you and include a wedding picture and maybe a picture of you toasting with their gift and mention how they were missed but you could feel their presence or something like that...? Sorry I'm no so eloquent today, hopefully my point came across.

I'd definitely send a thank you note right away. That'd be cute to send a picture of you and your fiancé with the basket even if you plan to drink it before your wedding!

I would send a thank you card now and reserve the picture thank you cards for guests that actually attended. If you have extras after that you could send them another (never can say thank you enough)Welcome New Vendors
