why is lane's mom so mean to her?? i love this show and i want lane & her mom to make up. thoughts??

at least the stories are finally moving along a bit. i forsee big things for mom and dad. something's gonna happen there. and lane's mom will eventually come around i think, i hope. i would love to see rory and jess together, but i don't think it'll happen. they should give her another boyfriend though, they need more males on the show :)
