Hi Ladies -so before I get my hopes up can anyone tell me if Giorgios is insanely expensive for a summer weekend wedding?

We went there on a whim while they were having a day wedding on a Sat--and they gave us the tour really quick and I wanna say they quoted us 115 before tax/service next Spring/Summer...But I will double check for you. I liked the venue itself and that it had the best of all that makes LI--a mini vineyard, access to the beach, golf course, three different ceremony spaces, FABULOUS Bridal & Groom Suites---but I did not like how they were actively setting up appointments while another event was already going on. They had people booked before us and after us to give tours and discuss pricing/dates.

I just didnt think that was all that 'fair', considerate to the couple who was in the middle of their event--nor did I think it was a good example of how 'attentive' they are when its your special day.

The FH now refers to it as the 'hump 'em and dump 'em' spot.' As in, they spit you out almost as fast and soon as they take you in.

Just something to consider I guess.

My boss just went to a wedding there last month & said it was excellent, food, atmosphere, everything. I have no idea on pricing because it was too far east for us. Good luck!

I'm getting married there, and I respectfully disagree with your assessment of the situation. We had a great experience so far, an they have been very attentive. If you made an appt on a Saturday or Sunday, there would have been an event going on, I assumed that going in when I visited places.

I was quoted $110 including tax and service fee for a Sunday afternoon. I love Giorgio's, it's beautiful and I'm excited to be getting married there!!

I am getting married at Giorgio's .. can't say enough good things about that place.
High/prime season is Mid May- Oct and I was priced btwn 150-189(including tax)for fri/sat night prime season..things change though so your best bet is to go in and ask.

I'm glad you had a great experience with them--and they were gracious to us when we were there, I loved everything about the place & I agree that it is beautiful however--had I known they were busy I wouldn't have taken the appointment. EVERY other venue I have been to has refused to make an appointment while they had an event going on, especially when they are the type of venue that is known for their 'one event at a time' --I just assumed it was out of proper consideration and etiquette that venues follow.

The price actually isn't super high there. We looked at Giorgios for a Saturday evening in the prime season (spring to fall) and I believe we were quoted around 160 or so (including tax). Not crazy expensive when compared to other venues.

@Loumela I actually had a similar experience to you since they booked our apt while getting ready for an event. We ran into members of the family for the wedding and we felt awful 'crashing'. They looked really confused when they saw people in jeans walking around! lol. The venue is pretty but it wasn't for us in the end.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'll have to check it out and see if I get that 'this is the place' feeling.

I attended a wedding there last night!! It was amazingly gorgeous there! They had great weather, the cocktail hour was great (so much variety) and the food was delicious! Her cake was gorgeous as well. The room is so pretty it was a great wedding and the service was definitely top notch as well. I didnt get to look there (because its my FH cousin) that just married and we didnt want to be right after at the same place but I would have loved it if i went prior to East Wind!

I LOVE the place.i knew I had to get married there when I first walked in. They are a little higher than most places I have seen but I've heard it's worth it! Also the closer you get to your wanted wedding date the better deal they can give you. If you looking to book more than a year in advance it will be harder to et the price you want. I have heard the food is delicious and I personally love the inside of the place and outside so that what counts to me. That's the only place I went to where I said even if the weather isn't perfect and its raining I wouldn't mind being inside because its gorgeous inside to

We are getting married at Giorgio's 8/31/14 (Sunday evening before Labor Day) and we were quoted $109 pp which is about $143 pp after tax and gratuity. I fell in love as soon as we walked in and the food is amazing!!

Saturday evening pries from April-October were around $190pp which was out of our price range so we went with the Sunday evening before Labor Day. We guaranteed 150 guests. We couldn't be happier about getting married there!!
