Giorgio's at Fox Hill--Review
Giorgio's at Fox Hill in Baiting Hollow, NY was the first place we looked at (after receiving a few recommendations) and nothing else seemed to compare. We tried to save some money by having the wedding on an off-month in the winter. We booked for Friday the 13th (March) at a reasonable price. George Jr., George Sr. and Dawn were both very accommodating to our requests/needs. They really took care of us. Robert (their Maitre'd) was PHENOMENAL!!! My wedding assistant (Shannon) was very helpful as well with fixing my dress and bringing me my food and drinks. We heard rave reviews about our food selection. We went with the Duet Appetizer (Cali Poached Pear Salad) which was a lil unique and people loved it. We had a tasting of all of our entree choices and they were all great - Chateau Briand, Chicken a la Principessa, Pistachio Crusted Mahi-Mahi, and Filetto di Pomodoro Pasta. Our 1 and half hour cocktail hour was a big hit. Giorgio's gave us a great variety to choose from and we were all very happy with the outcome. We were able to take some pictures outside near the beautiful golf course and near the garden area. Everything was perfect. Since our bridal party consisted of 17 girls and 10 boys, their bridal suites were a great size and fit all of us fine while we got ready. I have attached some pictures of the hall and how we decorated. We also had our ceremony there in the reception room in front of the big windows overlooking the golf course and it was just perfect. We went over on our table allotment and didnt end up needing the extra table so George Jr. said they would apply the extra table fee to the balance of our cake so we were very pleased by the way they worked with us. We highly recommend Giorgio's!!! People are STILL talking about our wedding so we hear. ![]()
