Giorgio's Brides

Giorgio's Brides

My mom was telling me that she heard that Giorgio's is no longer using the Rolling Pin for their wedding cakes anymore. FH and I met with the hall 2 weeks ago and George Jr. mentioned that he hasnt been happy with the way they have been treating their brides. He never mentioned changing bakeries.

Anyone know anything about this?

I didn't use their 'suggested' person because I wasn't impressed with it when we ate it at their showcase.

We used someone local for our cake.

Sorry

i got married at giorgio's last summer, and i have to say they are making a good decision by ditching that bakery. I was NOT impressed with my cake at all. i only had that one peice of cake so i have no idea what it tasted like, but it looked UGLY.

I have a great story about this!

I switched my baker the week of my wedding because the Rolling Pin was a nightmare! They are unprofessional and their cakes taste gross.

I used Micheala Michaels Desserts and my cake was fabulous!

I must be in the minority b/c I loved my cake and found Rolling Pin really easy to deal with. And it tasted deliciious too.

I have to say that I had a bad experience the day of my tasting at The Rolling Pin last year. I got sick after the tasting (I won't share details b/c it wasnt pleasant at all).
We actually had Tom from Audrey's Baked Goods make our cake. It was sooooooooo good, and Tom was so great to work with...
