Giorgio's Brides thread!

Original post by Shea

I want us to have a thread too!!

I am getting married there in August 2004 and always have questions about our place. of course they are always cheesy questions but why not a place for us to ask them!!

anyone ever had the cake or vienese there? or is any bride getting the vienese?

Updating since Jola's hardly on anymore We miss you!

Awww thanks Kathleen

Miss talking to you too..

I just realized I will be at Giorgio's 2 weekends in a row

For Natalies and for yours Kathleen - can't wait

I took a peek at the new bathrooms when I was their with Natalie and it is looking good. They definently need the extra stalls..
Looks like they are making 6 stalls and where the bathroom is now not sure, maybe they'll make it a powder room..

Glad to hear the bathrooms are complete. They definitely needed the extra space and stalls.

Looks like you'll eat good 2 weeks in a row. How exciting that Natalie is getting married there. At least she'll have no worries when it comes to her hall!

How was FL? Did you go to Disney? Married one year too, how exciting :)

I am sad that the restaurant closed as well. The food is soooooooo good. We did have a chance to go and we so enjoyed it.

I LOVE Giorgio's too. So beautiful.

Happy Planning to all.

It's official, ladies. The bathroom is complete! 6 stalls, 3 vanity table and a FLAT SCREEN TV!! Now all we need is a bar and massage table in there and we'll be set!

Jola Thanks for adding me to the list!

and thanks to laborday06 for bumping me the Giorgio's thread, etc.

I read a little bit of the old posts... looks like I am quite behind on the planning process...
Am I the first 2006 Giorgio's wedding and yet the newiest to book?
it's okay.. it will all get done. And now I'll have help from a bunch of wonderful LIWers

I did accomplish one thing tonight!

I booked my officiant

Giorgio's is awesome though. And it must be getting more popular. I first looked at Giorgio's in April.. got a quote... then brought my FI back in June and the price went UP!
Glad I got a quote even though I was just looking!

Chat with you all soon!

Did you read Jola's review? She has some great pictures! Also MCDO15 and Shea have a great review and pictures.

Good Luck with your planning!

Re: Giorgio's Brides thread!

I was just reading a post on one of the previous pages about how far Girogio's is. I just want to say one thing...distance won't matter when you see this place. I'm getting married in Queens, yes Queens, and then having our reception at Giorgios this October.

Once my fiance and I saw the place, tried the food for dinner and again another day for Sunday Brunch...that was it! It is not only a gorgeous place but the food was phenomenal! And everyone is so nice there, too!
